Technology · Lived Experience · Curiosity · Life

Husband, dad, coach, and builder of things. Technology leader. Brain injury survivor and advocate.
Curious about how technology, experience, and people can create meaningful change and have some fun along the way.
01 · Technology & Modernization
Turning complex technology into practical outcomes.
I've spent much of my career helping organizations modernize how they build, operate, and deliver technology. My work has ranged from infrastructure, cloud, platforms, and DevOps to product leadership, service management, AI, and building teams that can turn complex technology into practical outcomes.
I'm most interested in the intersection of technology, people, and change. That means understanding what is possible, staying close enough to the technology to make informed decisions, and helping teams move from ideas to something that actually works.
Along the way, I've led large-scale modernization efforts, built and grown technology teams and platforms, and helped deliver millions of dollars in measurable value and savings.
02 · Brain Injury & Lived Experience
More than two decades of living with brain injury.
In 2003, I suffered a severe traumatic brain injury that changed the course of my life. More than two decades later, brain injury is still part of my story, not because it defines everything about me, but because living through it has shaped how I see resilience, recovery, relationships, and what matters most.
Today, I use that lived experience to support and advocate for others in the brain injury community. I serve on the Brain Injury Survivors Advisory Council, participate in advocacy efforts including Brain Injury Awareness Day in Washington, D.C., and continue looking for ways to help people feel understood, informed, and less alone.
03 · Still Building
Curiosity works better when you build something with it.
I've always liked understanding how things work and figuring out how to make them better. That curiosity keeps me close to the technology, even as my role has grown more focused on leadership and strategy.
Today, I spend time experimenting with AI, automation, software, and new ways of solving everyday problems. Sometimes that means building tools to make youth hockey coaching easier. Other times it means exploring how automation can simplify content creation, workflows, or repetitive work. And sometimes building has nothing to do with software at all, from constructing a brick pizza oven and woodworking projects to rebuilding a Mustang.
For me, building is less about the technology itself and more about what it can enable. I enjoy taking an idea, testing what is possible, and turning it into something useful.
04 · Life & What Matters
Make the most of the time you have.
Outside of work, the most important parts of my life are pretty simple: family, friends, staying curious, and making time for the things that matter.
I'm a husband, dad, and friend, and those relationships shape how I think about responsibility, patience, perspective, and showing up for people. I enjoy coaching, the outdoors, time near the water or in the mountains, building things with my hands, and finding reasons to have fun along the way.
A lot of what I value comes back to the same idea: make the most of the time you have, stay connected to people, keep learning, and try to leave things a little better than you found them.

Things I'm thinking about, learning, and still figuring out.
From time to time, I'll share ideas and lessons where technology, leadership, lived experience, and everyday life intersect.
